Why I Love Fucking

June 16th, 2010

I hate prejudice. It really hurts my feelings that one human being will be biased against another human being because of their race, sexual orientation, or any other distinction unrelated to their character and actions.

I believe the same mentality that allows a person to believe that gay people are bad and straight people are good allows a person to believe that the word shit is bad while the word poop is ok. There is no fundamental difference between the two words except for the fact that people have been taught culturally by other people that shit is a bad word. Prejudice is also taught culturally.

I like the title Big Fucking Logo because it gives people a little jolt when I tell them the name of my blog. But I also like the name because some people say “you don’t want to call it that. You’ll lose so many potential readers.”

I’m not worried about the readers I might have lost. I’m just appreciative for the people who are here, commenting, sharing and taking the time to consider my ideas. I also think we’re fighting prejudice, just wanted to let you know.

The sole reason I checked out your site was the title. I love that you are willing to buck the convention. Can’t wait to dig into the rest of your posts.

Tear them from the soil Rona. Dig until my yard looks like it was attacked by mutant prarie dogs.
I really like the look of the Proctor Companies page on your portfolio site.

“fuck” is the onomatopoetic sound of ideas being exchanged. anyone who doesn’t love that has my deepest, moistest, and most passionate sympathies. a hug would not be enough.
